The Unseen Hand

1917. The Lotus Hotel prides itself on hosting the cream of London's society, offering sanctuary and respite for its exclusively female clientele in its elegant surroundings. But its reputation as a safe haven is cast in doubt when a dead body is discovered in one of the rooms, the woman neither a guest of the hotel nor a member of staff.

Inspector Marmion and Sergeant Keedy are dispatched to look into the incident and soon suspect foul play. Tangling with a forgetful widower, a wily competitor and the haughty hotel owner, the pair will have to delve into the past to solve this crime in the present.
